The Start of My Career in Action Sports

While writing my thesis during my final year of university, I did a short internship at Burton Italy. Shortly after, a friend of a friend mentioned that Connexia was looking for an intern with expertise in action sports.

I went for my first interview the day before officially earning my degree in Tourism Sciences—a perfectly timed start to a career that combined my passion and knowledge.

From Intern to Coordinator: My Start in Communication

My first desk job was at Connexia, a prominent communication agency in Milan, Italy.

I began as a Press Office Intern in 2007 and, by 2011, I was Sport Marketing Coordinator. During my time there, I worked on BTL communication projects for major clients such as Coca-Cola and FIAT Automobiles, gaining valuable experience in the industry.

Sport Marketing Coordinator: FIAT Freestyle Team

As Sport Marketing Coordinator for the FIAT Freestyle Team, I collaborated with a diverse range of stakeholders, including marketing and communication departments, professional athletes, journalists, and creative agencies. This role allowed me to bridge the gap between strategy and execution, fostering relationships across the sports and media landscape

Communication Manager: Burn Energy Drink (Coca-Cola)

For the Burn Energy Drink BTL project by Coca-Cola, I served as the Communication Manager for the Italian market, overseeing strategic communication efforts tailored to local audiences and ensuring alignment with the brand’s global vision.
